In a year, there are 4 major themes curated by artist locally. The art pieces exhibit here are stunning and never fail to impress and educate me.

I consider the gallery visit is a must if you are visiting the PETRONAS Twin Towers. And I heard from the Manager that they are working on a package for you to go for the sky bridge tour plus the gallery.

So, it is pretty much interesting in my opinion. So, don’t miss a change to visit the Galeri Petronas inside Suria KLCC.

The Petronas Gallery is conveniently located in the Suria KLCC shopping centre at the base of the Petronas Towers. A quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the shopping hordes, the Petronas Gallery offers another perspective on the culture and art of Malaysia and that of greater Asia.

While the artworks are locally curated and are rotated throughout the year, the influences and the inspiration they draw upon, while entwined in the local culture, are drawn from threads having their roots far abroad in greater Asia, reflecting similar influences in the broader Malaysian culture in general.

The Petronas Towers having been designed as architectural icons of Malaysian culture, the artworks in the Petronas Gallery also serve to articulate and contextualise this culture to those who may only be visiting, thereby enabling more value and insight to be gleaned from a visit to the towers.

Definitely a worthwhile stop before or after the tower ascent.
